I. Tianchi Ski Resort

If you love to see the scenery, you must choose the Tianchi Ski Resort. The snow scene here is the most beautiful, and in winter, it’s a strange thing that it’s not cold here. It is located at the foot of the famous 5A-level Tianchi Scenic Area in Xinjiang. You can choose to check in with the Tianshan Tianchi scenic spot.

Ticket price: 80 yuan/day, 110 yuan/day on weekends.

Monday to Friday: Bring your own skis for 4h100 (skis provided on the 20th) or full day 160 (skis provided on the 20th)

Weekend: Bring your own skis for 4h120 (skis provided on the 20th) or full day 180 (skis provided on the 40th)

Ski slopes include: children’s special slopes, beginner slopes, intermediate slopes, advanced slopes, and other slopes of various difficulty levels.

Other items: snowmobile, camel project, snow circle track, etc.

Tip: After skiing, go to the Wujang Hot Spring City at the foot of Tianchi and soak in the hot springs to experience the snow and hot springs! It is said to be good here.

II. Silk Road International Ski Resort

I’ve been there twice for unit team building many years ago. This is the place with the most ski slopes in Urumqi, and it’s also the most famous ski resort. Because I can’t ski, I was thrown many times on the beginner slopes. I was young and dared to ski back then, but I don’t dare to go now.

Located in Banfanggou, Nanshan, it is one of the three largest ski resorts in China, with 4 special ski and sightseeing cable cars, the only one in Northwest China that directly reaches the virgin forest.

III. Baiyun Ski Resort

It has two natural ski resorts, one high-altitude cable car, two large towing ropes, and two small towing ropes. There are 13 ski slopes, including beginner, intermediate, advanced and cross-country slopes, and 6 snow circle slopes.

IV. Snow Lotus Mountain Golf & Ski Resort

All ski slopes are equipped with towing ropes, magic carpet ropes or four-person chairlifts and lighting equipment.

V. West Ski Resort

The closest ski resort to the city, you can take the bus to get there. The ski resort is adjacent to the Shuimogou Park, a large-scale ski resort integrating catering, accommodation, leisure, entertainment, skiing, ice skating, etc., and also the most complete large-scale illuminated ski resort in Northwest China.

VI. Sunshine Ski Resort

Sunshine Ski Resort is next to Yinfeng Ski Resort, with vacation, leisure, accommodation and dining. The ski resort is 35 kilometers away from Urumqi City. Ski slopes: beginner, intermediate, advanced ski slopes and high, middle and low 3 snow circle slopes.

VIII. Nanshan Wukesong Ski Resort

The first ski resort in Xinjiang, a leisure and entertainment venue integrating winter skiing and summer tourism. There are beginner and intermediate ski slopes, with snowboard, double board, snow bike, sled, snow saucer, as well as snowmobile, karting, traction umbrella, real-person CS and other entertainment projects. It is a paradise for beginners and children.
