From a bird’s eye view, the scenic area covers a large area, mainly composed of three major areas: Sandiequan, Baibuoxa, and Yunding Grassland. Visitors can hike up the mountain in the direction of the mountaintop grassland. The beautiful scenery along the way is breathtaking. After exploring the mountaintop area, you can take another road down the mountain. The entire hiking route is a loop. The entire hike takes about 7 hours. Of course, you can choose to take the cable car up the mountain at the Sandiequan route, which can save about half of the hiking distance. Afterward, you can hike down the Baibuoxa.
3. Wuyuezhai
Wuyuezhai is a great place to enjoy mountain views near Shijiazhuang. The scenic area features beautiful mountains, dense forests, excellent air quality, abundant water resources, many waterfalls and pools, and crisscrossing streams. The sound of flowing water and the roar of waterfalls blend with the chirping of birds, filling your ears and making you feel refreshed. It is a great place to enjoy mountain views and relax on vacation.
Visitors mainly explore the area by hiking. When you enter the gate of the scenic area, you pass a wooden bridge to Yue Gorge, climb the steps, and reach the viewing platform. From here, you can admire the beautiful scenery of “Xiao Wuyue.” Afterward, you can choose your hiking route at the three-way intersection. You can choose to go to Tuoliang Scenic Area, or you can choose to climb the main peak, “Xiaotaishan.” Those with limited stamina can choose to descend from here. In my opinion, the air here is fresh, the breeze is gentle, the peaks are numerous, the mountains are undulating, the mountaintops are shrouded in mist, it’s like a fairyland. The mountain is also quiet and secluded, making it a great place to cleanse your mind.
