5、Yishui Lake

It is an artificial lake built in the 1950s by taking advantage of the towering mountains around it. The water surface area is 27 square kilometers, with a maximum depth of 48.5 meters. The southern side of the lake is connected to Langya Mountain, the northern side is Zijin Pass, the western side is Wufengzhai with an altitude of 1283 meters, and the eastern side is Jiulong Mountain. Yishui Lake locks the upstream water flow of the Yishui River to form a lake, and the water is clear and pure.

The surrounding environment of Yishui Lake is beautiful and the scenery is pleasant. Since it was developed into a tourist scenic area in the 1990s, it has been known as “Little Guilin in the North” due to its resemblance to Lijiang scenery.

6、Shangzhuang Reservoir

Address: 300 meters west of the Shangzhuang Reservoir Bridge on the south bank, 30 kilometers from the city center.

Self-driving route: Take the Jingzang Expressway (former Badaling Expressway), turn left at the Beianhe exit, go west on Beiqing Road for 7 kilometers, see the blue Shangzhuang Road sign, turn right, go north on Shangzhuang Road for 4 kilometers, see the reservoir bridge, do not cross the bridge, go west along the south bank of the reservoir for 300 meters; Northwest Fourth Ring Road to Wanquanhe Road and then continue to Yuanmingyuan West Road, to Yongfeng Road and then go west on Beiqing Road for 4 kilometers, see the blue Shangzhuang Road sign, turn right, go north on Shangzhuang Road for 4 kilometers, see the reservoir bridge, do not cross the bridge, go west along the south bank of the reservoir for 300 meters.

Self-driving route: Exit San Yuan Qiao, take the Airport Expressway, exit the expressway and take Jingmi Road to enter Huairou District, then drive northwest towards Mutianyu, go straight at the Mutianyu roundabout for 8 kilometers, there are billboards along the way.
