1、Wuling Mountain

Difficulty Index: ★★★★, Northeast of Beijing, main peak of the Yanshan Mountains, 2118 meters above sea level.

Comprehensive Environment: When clouds roll in, they pave the way, people walk in the sky, as if in a fairyland. You can come here to hike, camp, and explore.

Transportation Guide:

Route 1: Take Jingmi Highway for one hour, pass Miyun, turn right at Jugezhuang, and there are another 69 kilometers, which is about half of the journey. After turning right, it will take about one and a half hours to arrive in Xinglong County, Hebei Province. Pass the county seat, Xinglong Railway Station, and go north to reach the South Gate of Wuling Mountain, 150 kilometers away from Beijing, a total of two hours.

From here, you can enter the Xianren Tower Scenic Area. Driving into the scenic area can take you directly to the top. This road is the only one that allows car enthusiasts to drive directly to the top. Entering the scenic area from this gate allows you to see more scenery in a short time and saves a lot of energy. You can drive directly to the top of the mountain, and it takes 100 meters to reach the top from there.

Route 2: Take Jingmi Highway to Miyun, then take the 101 National Highway from Miyun to Chengde, turn right near “Dongshan Village” north of Taishi Tun Town, enter Songcao Road, arrive at Caojia Road, continue eastward along a dirt road, pass Dagou Village, Huayuan Village, Heiguan, Wuling Mountain Village to reach the North Gate, 145 kilometers away from Beijing. You can enter the Qingliangjie Scenic Area from here, go through Qingliangjie→Luosongtai→Lianhua Pond to reach the top of the peak. However, after entering the mountain gate, there is no road for cars, you can only reach the scenic area through tourist trails, which is more suitable for people who like hiking and exploring.

Route 3: Take Jingmi Highway to Miyun, then take the 101 National Highway from Miyun to Chengde, pass Taishi Tun, turn towards Yunxiu Valley at Sangyuan, arrive at Caojia Road Village in Miyun County, and go south to reach the West Gate, 140 kilometers away from Beijing. Enter the Longtan Scenic Area, go through Longtan Waterfall→Guanyin Sending Child Cliff→Xiaohukou Waterfall→Natural Kiwi Fruit Garden→Po Mo Peak to reach the top of the peak. You also need to walk after entering the scenic area.

2、Baihua Mountain

Difficulty Index: ★★★, 1991 meters above sea level, the mountain is steep and beautiful.

Comprehensive Environment: White clouds can be seen circling the mountaintop in summer. The gentle slopes for tens of miles in the mountains are covered with green grass, and wild flowers of various colors are blooming in various shades.

Air Condition: Mountain microclimate, abundant rainfall. Mountain plants grow luxuriantly and are diverse in species. According to statistics, there are over 700 species, hence it is also known as the “Natural Botanical Garden” with excellent air quality.

Transportation Guide: Take the subway to Appleyard Station, change to bus No. 326 to Hetan, where there are many small buses that can take you to Baihua Mountain.

Self-driving: From Fushi Road, turn right at Jinan Bridge, drive to Longquan Hotel and turn right onto National Highway 109.

Follow the road signs to Zhaitang Town, continue to Qing shui Town, and find the “Baihua Mountain” sign. The car continues to drive to Tahe Village, turn left at the fork in the road and go up the mountain until you reach the Baihua Mountain ticket office. There are many gas stations along the way, most of which are mountain roads, with many bends and steep slopes, so drive carefully.

3、Yunmeng Mountain

5、Shangfang Mountain

Difficulty Index: ★★, Shangfang Mountain, located in Yuegezhuang Township, Fangshan District, 70 kilometers away from Beijing, has 12 peaks. Zhongtianzhizhu is the highest peak of Shangfang Mountain, 860 meters above sea level, also known as “Zhaixingsuo”

6、Hongluo Temple
