Shanghai Disneyland has officially opened, and it is a Disney park with strong Eastern characteristics. It is also unprecedentedly large, with many themed elements incorporating Chinese style. However, many of the thrilling and exciting projects may not be well known to everyone. Here are some of the best rides recommended for you.
What are the best rides in Shanghai Disneyland:
Slinky Dog Dash, Pirates of the Caribbean, Flight of Passage
Different people have different tastes, one hundred people have one hundred different Disneylands. I finally found a few days off during this vacation and went to Shanghai to experience Disneyland.
Disneyland is not only a paradise in the hearts of children, but also for us grown-ups who grew up watching Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Being able to take a trip to Disneyland is a realization of our childhood dreams.
This time I went to Disneyland, I made full preparations in advance. First, I went online and seriously looked at, no, I should say I seriously researched Disneyland’s strategy. I systematically learned and thought about what things can be brought, what things can’t be brought, what things are not needed, and what methods can be used to reduce waiting time, etc. However, the facts proved that all these preparations were “useless”.
On the day of the trip, I got up “early” (6:30 am) and then perfectly followed my planned schedule, taking the subway to arrive at the entrance of Shanghai Disneyland at 7:30 am. However, what greeted me was not the pleasant sight of an empty park, but a crowd of people already standing three or four layers deep. The legend of Disneyland being overcrowded is indeed true. After nearly an hour of queuing for security checks, I finally entered the Disneyland park at 8:40 am.
The first thing to do when entering Disneyland is to grab a FastPass, of course. I threw my backpack to my family and ran towards the Adventure Isle FastPass area. However, what greeted me was a heavy blow, the line for grabbing FastPass was already snaking long, I estimated it would take more than an hour to get to me, forget it, I’ll just go for a walk in the park, these thrilling rides can be left to the younger generation.
After adjusting my mentality, I took my family around the Disneyland park for a whole day. Since the food prices in the park were indeed not cheap, and I’m the type of person who likes to save money, I had to eat some dry food when I was hungry and drink some filtered water when I was thirsty.
During this time, I played a few less exciting rides with shorter waiting times, watched the Frozen concert, and stayed up late to enjoy the fireworks show. The whole family fought their way out of the crowd and arrived at the subway station smoothly. Our day trip to the park finally came to an end, and I was truly tired and aching all over!
Summarizing the experience of the day’s trip, there are definitely pros and cons. I’ll talk about my overall impression of Disneyland, mainly focusing on the pros.
Disneyland is indeed very clean, the sanitation is very well done, it’s difficult to see any white garbage anywhere, as soon as a plastic bag appears on the ground, a sanitation worker will come and clean it up within five minutes. This is especially true after the parade ends at noon and in the afternoon, there are quite a few snack bags dropped on the ground on both sides of the main road, but they always manage to restore the clean environment atmosphere in the shortest time. This management system is truly impressive.
The cultural atmosphere of the park is really good. Coming to Disney, in addition to letting children experience American animation culture, it also allows us adults to relive our childhood dreams. Coming to this fairy tale world filled with castles, princesses and dwarves, even if you haven’t been able to queue for all the exciting rides, but spending a day in such a poetic and picturesque environment, this ticket is worth it.
