Anshun and Qianxi

Although June to August is the rainy season, you can see the magnificent Huangguoshu Waterfall during this time. You can go directly to the Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, enjoy the fun of getting wet in the Water Curtain Cave behind the large waterfall, and at the water-mist filled Rhinoceros Pool, you can see the huge waterfall fall into the deep pool with an amazing momentum. Next, go down the Beipan River to Xingyi’s Wanfenglin. Here, you can appreciate the beauty of the karst countryside. In spring, golden canola flowers and white villages form a stark contrast. In summer, the water in the rice paddies reflects the peaks, creating a distant ink painting.
Xuyi, Jiangsu

Although it houses the ancestral tomb of Emperor Hongwu, Xuyi is not very famous, and many people still mistakenly pronounce it as “Yutai”. However, due to foodies’ love for crayfish, the annual Crayfish Festival has raised Xuyi’s profile. Crayfish is cooked deliciously in Xuyi, and the crayfish in Hongze Lake are very plump. Around June 12th, this place will become a food battlefield. Many crayfish we eat are actually from Xuyi crayfish. But you might not have had the chance to taste them. If you have the chance to go to Xuyi, you must try them, they definitely won’t disappoint.
Besides eating, the First Mountain and Dulyang Mountain are both in Xuyi. The old town at the foot of the mountains still retains the heritage of a small town on the south bank of the Huai River. The ancient city of Sizhou, which has been submerged under water for many years, awaits your discovery.
