Live Performance
On the first day we arrived in Jinggangshan, we watched the large-scale live performance “Jinggangshan.” That night, it was pouring rain, but the performance continued. Over 600 local actors wore raincoats and performed the story of Jinggangshan in the rain.
In the real cannon fire and fireworks, it felt like we were really in a war. Perhaps we in the peaceful era simply don’t understand the meaning of war and sacrifice. But in the audience of this live performance, many people cried.

At night in Jinggangshan, we saw the starry sky that we hadn’t seen in a long time. The stars in the mountains are always so bright and twinkling. We all acted like children, looking at them again and again.
