After walking around Cizhu Ancient Town, there were more and more tourists, so I didn’t stay any longer and went to the next stop.

The “Yangtze River Cableway” is an aerial bus in the mountain city, and it is worth visiting for tourists. Sitting on the cableway and looking at the Yangtze River below, the rolling river flows eastward. It is indeed a wonderful experience.

Take the cable car to the south bank, you can go to the Nanshan Yikeshu Scenic Garden to see the night view.

Chongqing’s night view was once listed as one of the top three urban night views in the world, known as “a million-dollar night view”, and the best viewpoint is Nanshan Yikeshu. The Nanshan Yikeshu observation deck is high and has a wide view, overlooking the entire Yuzhong Peninsula. After nightfall, it is always crowded with people.

One of the must-tries in Chongqing is hot pot.

Hot pot should be eaten with friends or family. Eat heartily and chat warmly, that’s what hot pot is all about.

But traveling alone and not wanting to miss out on the delicious food, I went to have hot pot alone. When I entered, the waiter asked me how many people, I said one, and the customers at other tables all looked at me differently. Never mind, enjoy the delicious food!

This solo trip to Chongqing came to an end. I am especially grateful for the kind people I met along the way. In Nanshan Yikeshu, a mother and daughter from Guangxi gave me a ride down the mountain; when I bought tickets for the light rail, I didn’t have change, and a sister helped me buy the ticket; on the way back, a very talkative sister gave me lychees from her own garden to eat. On the same return journey, a young man from Beijing gave me his snacks to eat and offered to carry my bag for me. Because of you, my trip was not so lonely and warm.

Travel is a seasoning, life will continue.
