Best time to travel

The best time to visit Snow Town is from late December to early March. The advantage of going in late December is that the snow is freshly fallen, there are not too many footprints, and the sunlight is slanting, which is more suitable for taking pictures. If you go in March, the temperature should be a little warmer, which has its advantages and disadvantages. The Spring Festival period is peak season, so try to avoid it. If you go during this period and haven’t booked accommodation in advance, you may end up sleeping on the floor of a homestay.
