The First Day of the New Year Scenic Resort is mainly based on the architectural style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are high-rise inns with small high-rise buildings, low-rise courtyards in the form of courtyard houses, and waterfront villas along the creek, creating a holiday town with “green mountains and rivers when you open the door, urban life when you close the door”.
The landscaping in the resort is particularly charming. From Jiangnan Tianchi, come back to The First Day of the New Year Resort for a rest. You can choose to taste some farm dishes in the surrounding farmhouses, or have dinner at the Shanwaishan Restaurant or the Huafang Restaurant in the town.
On the second day, you can sleep until you wake up naturally. After having a buffet breakfast in the town, set off to visit the Dazhuhai.
The Dazhuhai of China is a forest dominated by pure bamboo, the largest bamboo culture and ecological leisure tourism area in southeastern China, and the filming location for the bamboo forest scenes in the movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”.
Walking slowly along the main road from the entrance of the scenic spot, you pass the Wunuquan. The spring water comes from the groundwater of the Dazhuhai. It is said that this is where the dragon veins are located, so the spring water also carries the immortal aura of the dragon veins, which is very magical. You can also walk along the Bamboo Sea Corridor. On sunny days, the corridor will be very cool. After passing the large stone tablet of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”, you will climb the mountain and cross the Dazhuhai.
The scenic spot ticket is 58 yuan.
The commercial atmosphere is strong: oxcarts at the entrance, sedan chairs to the mountain all start at a high price. You must go through the shopping mall at the exit, and the prices of the goods are not cheap.
After visiting the Dazhuhai, you can have a late lunch at a farmhouse in the surrounding area, and then return to Shanghai.
