Where to go in March? Great travel recommendations!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been seeing a lot of people staring blankly out the window, sighing at the sky, and even giggling at their phones… I’ve seen quite a few cases in the office. When I asked them what was going on, they said they were just feeling spring fever. They see the good weather and want to go out. They’re constantly looking at routes on their phones. It’s true, March is the time when spring returns to the earth and all things grow. After being cooped up all winter, it’s time to get out and relax. So here are a few recommendations for the best travel destinations in March.

Hike through the hidden plum blossom wonderland of Huizhou, a hidden gem on the banks of the Xin’an River, tucked away in the mountains. Its terrain resembles a fish, and the villagers are known for selling flowers, hence the name. They only sell plum blossoms, not fish, and it’s a plum blossom wonderland that will amaze you as soon as you step foot in it. Hike through the sea of flowers—that’s the right way to enjoy spring.

Senbon means “thousand,” and it’s used to describe the abundance of cherry blossoms. “Ichi-mō-sen-bon-zakura” means “a thousand cherry blossoms at a glance,” referring to the sight of 30,000 cherry trees blooming across the mountainside. Legend has it that Toyotomi Hideyoshi, with his 500 retainers, came here to view the cherry blossoms. It’s also a Buddhist practice site, and amidst the cherry blossoms, you can often catch glimpses of the ancient temple’s beautifully decorated eaves. Compared to other places, it has a more human touch.

The Xinghua people call these “small islands” “duo,” which are just a little bit higher than the water level. They are arranged in a neat, uniform pattern. From the top of the 20-meter-high sightseeing platform, you can see an endless expanse of golden rapeseed flowers. Occasionally, you’ll see someone rowing a small boat leisurely across the water. Cherry blossoms illuminated by light have a unique beauty. Most people choose to view the cherry blossoms during the day. It’s true that cherry blossoms are lovely and delicate under the bright sunshine, but the cherry blossoms illuminated by lights at night have a more beautiful and alluring charm. Compared to the bustling crowds during the day, it’s quieter and less crowded at night, allowing you to quietly appreciate the beauty of the cherry blossoms. Meguro River is Tokyo’s most popular night cherry blossom spot. From the bridge to the Taiko Bridge, there are 800 Somei Yoshino cherry trees planted along the riverbank. When the cherry blossoms bloom together, they create a hazy, dreamy atmosphere. A boat tour is the best way to enjoy them, and you can make reservations in advance.

But Mexico’s true brilliance lies elsewhere. It’s home to the splendid civilization created by ancient Indians, the birthplace of two of the three major ancient cultures of the Americas, Mayan culture and Aztec culture. There are still many historical sites left, such as Chichen Itza (Feathered Serpent Pyramid), one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and Teotihuacan (Sun and Moon Pyramids), the “City of the Gods.” In March, Mexico has comfortable temperatures and stable weather, and it’s off-season, so prices are half as cheap as during peak season!
